Amanda Elizabeth Righetti (born Amanda Elizabeth Righetti) is an American producer and actor. Her most well-known work is being the character on CBS police procedural series "The Mentalist"'s special agent Grace Van Pelt. As a Utah resident, Righetti had always wanted to be a performer. At the age of four, her life, Righetti began dancing. Her big-screen debut was in the film of 1995 "Love and Happiness". As a CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest she made her small screen debut. Righetti was a 14-year-old model at the time she started her modeling career. She relocated to Los Angeles four years later and continued to play small, but significant roles until she got a role in Fox's teen-drama 'The O.C. ', as recurring character Hailey Nichol. Righetti played a part in the 2009 horror film "Friday the 13th". She also played an important role in the movie superhero Captain America: The First Avenger, Fox's drama series "North Shore", and the Fox soap show "Reunion". In 'The Mentalist,' she was Grace Van Pelt between 2008 until 2015. Her performance received praise from the critics.
